Inventory & Skill & Trade. Week 2 dev log


Hey I hope you have a good week! It's a long week for me. Weather here is getting colder... gonna grab some hot coffee & tea!

This week is bascially the wrap up for last week leftover. The inventory system is done. It is slightly more complex than I thought but nothing stuck me for too long. The skill/shop/equipment are all using this class so it needs to be carefully coded.

Merchant


To buy or sell you can either click right-click or just drag & drop. For some bulk items you can also enter the amount.

Also I have done some refinement on the context display.

There aren't really much technical things behind the scenes, mostly are type convertion, copy and clone. Oh yeah and some logic checking if your bags are full, if you have the money... and some UI stuff. I can also add more function like a max button, split, and some display like how your money changed after the trade - but for now it is sufficient.

Skill

Now  you can drag & drop 4 skills into your shortcut slot. I also done some UI improvement so you can see the shortcut/level on the icon.


There are 3 sub-type skills for each class (I, II, III). Each sub-type have focus on certain build of battle style. Surely they are not binded. You can try combine them based on your preference or your best equipment. It is expected to have arounds total 12-16 skills for each class. Remind some skills are passive, you still need to equip them to have the effect.

I add the equipment slots to the stat - to equip you can just drag & drop or right-click then select equip.

So this bascially cover this week. I have to admit the current progress is kind of slow. I need to schedule my timeline better.

Next week will be working on dungeon design. I have some thoughts in minds already.
